Junior Rugby League
At Thirroul Butchers JRLC, we believe in the power of rugby league to teach teamwork, discipline, and resilience. Our Junior Rugby League program provides a structured and supportive platform for boys and girls to learn and master the fundamentals of the game. Under the guidance of experienced coaches, young players develop not only their physical skills but also crucial aspects of character such as leadership, communication, and respect for opponents.
Registration Costs -
Under 6, Under 7, Under 8 and Under 9 League - Registration is FREE and includes training singlet and club polo for new players to our club.
Under 10 to Under 16 League - $180 for registration includes training singlet and club polo for new players to our club.
In 2026, we will have a girls Under 12, Under 14 and Under 16 tackle teams.
League Tag
For those looking for a non-contact alternative that retains the essence of rugby league, our League Tag program offers an exciting and inclusive experience. Open to girls, League Tag emphasizes strategy, agility, and quick decision-making. It's a fantastic introduction to the world of rugby for beginners and a thrilling variation for those who enjoy the fast-paced nature of the game without the physical contact.

Under 6, Under 7, Under8 and Under 9 League Tag - Registration is FREE and includes training singlet and club polo for new players to the club. (Under 6 side is a mix gender team)
Under 10 to Under 16 League - $180 for registration includes training singlet and club polo for new players to our club.
Seniors League Tag - $180 for registration includes training singlet and club polo for new players to our club.

Oz Tag is a popular and inclusive sport that caters to all skill levels. Known for its exhilarating pace and strategic gameplay, Oz Tag is a tag-based version of rugby league that provides a fun and social outlet for children to stay active. Whether you're a seasoned player or a newcomer, our Oz Tag program offers a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone.

Registration's for Summer 2026 / 2027 season will open in July / August, 2026.
